Daimler buys Europcar out of Car2Go, paving way for BMW alliance

Daimler will buy Europcar's 25 percent stake in short-term rental service Car2Go for 70 million euros ($85 million), the automaker said, paving the way for Daimler's Mercedes and BMW to develop driverless taxis.
