VW third-quarter earnings rise 15% despite U.S. diesel costs

VW Group lifted its profit guidance for the year after earnings rose 15 percent in the third quarter as cost cuts at its VW brand offset weak Audi results and the cost of fixing rigged diesels in the U.S.
