The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance has said it plans to launch 12 full EVs by 2022 using common platforms. Hybrids are likely to show up in Mitsubishi vehicles based on alliance technology.

And Mitsubishi considers itself a leader in plug-in hybrids with the Outlander plug-in hybrid EV. Over time, probably all Mitsubishi vehicles on alliance platforms will offer hybrids and plug-in hybrids, and Mitsubishi will get its own EVs on shared architecture.
