Mercedes' top-selling vehicle received a more efficient engine last year.
STAGE:Mercedes-Benz GLCIn June, Nissan discontinued production of its NV cargo and passenger vans at its plants in Canton, Miss., and Cuernavaca, Mexico.
The decision to end production was about prioritizing resources and focusing on the brand's core sedans and crossovers, the company said last year. Sales of the vans will end this year.
STAGE:Nissan NV commercial vansThe hypercar developed with Red Bull Racing is finally closer to becoming reality, with deliveries set to begin in 2021, likely around the second quarter.
STAGE:Aston Martin ValkyrieA larger interior, bigger display screens, additional storage space and more safety equipment highlight changes to the freshened 2022 Jeep Compass.
STAGE:Jeep CompassHyundai's economy sedan soldiers on for the 2021 model year unchanged. The automaker has said it will continue to sell the Accent as long as there is demand, but the subcompact Venue crossover — new for the 2020 model year — eventually will take over. The entry-level vehicles are running neck-and-neck in sales through July, with the Accent at 9,832 and the Venue at 8,791. If the Accent stays around for 2022, a freshen is possible.
STAGE:Hyundai AccentThe iconic sports car is receiving a makeover early next year — its first redesign since 2009.
STAGE:Nissan ZMercedes will discontinue selling the all-electric coupe and convertible in the U.S. and Canada at the end of the 2019 model year.
STAGE:Smart ForTwoRolls-Royce will join the electrification party eventually, but its first EV likely won't land until around 2025 or 2026.
STAGE:Rolls-Royce EVThe Ioniq 7 sedan will arrive in 2024.
STAGE:Ioniq 7The next generation of the subcompact crossover, Fiat's only all-wheel-drive vehicle, could arrive in 2025. But will it reach U.S. shores?
STAGE:Fiat 500XThe G-Class was redesigned in late 2018 and is now bigger, lighter and more luxurious than its predecessor.
STAGE:Mercedes-Benz G classHonda's minivan was freshened for the 2021 model year with some mild exterior styling updates and some added interior features.
STAGE:Honda OdysseyJaguar is dropping the entry-level 2.0-liter turbo P300 engine and the midlevel V-6 P400 engine on the 2022 F-Type coupe and convertible, leaving just two V-8 engines: the 450-hp P450 and the 575-hp F-Type R.
STAGE:Jaguar F-TypeThe subcompact crossover is getting several special editions for the 2021 model year.
STAGE:Jeep RenegadeBoth full-size SUVs from GMC likely will be freshened in 2024, after significant redesigns in 2020.
STAGE:GMC Yukon/Yukon XLAn electric performance sedan will replace the Camaro in 2025.
STAGE:Chevrolet electric sedanWith coupe, convertible and high- performance variants now rolled out, the 720S likely won't receive any major changes until 2022 at the earliest. But details are unknown.
STAGE:McLaren 720SChevy plans to launch a Z06 high-performance variant in 2023, with a reveal scheduled for this fall.
STAGE:Chevrolet CorvetteThe full-size pickup jettisoned its diesel variant and was freshened last year. The 2020 Nissan Titan received new safety features and technology along with an improved powertrain. Under the hood, the model has a tweaked 5.6-liter V-8 engine that delivers 400 hp.
But the long-term future of the nameplate is in question. In the first half of the year, the Titan captured just 1.5 percent share of the Detroit 3-dominated full-size pickup segment.
STAGE:Nissan TitanDespite a freshening last year, sales of the luxury compact sport sedan have been abysmal — just 780 were sold in the second quarter, down 31 percent compared with the same period a year earlier. It's unlikely Jaguar will spend any more money on the XE trying to compete with the BMW 3 Series. Future plans for the XE are reported to be in flux.
STAGE:Jaguar XEProduction of the new small crossover is slated to begin in 2021.
STAGE:Alfa Romeo compact crossoverLamborghini plans to introduce a new nameplate between 2025 and 2027, according to Domenicali. It should take the form of a 2+2 GT.

STAGE:Lincoln ContinentalThe 2021 Land Rover Discovery arriving at dealers in February sports a new engine lineup, a redesigned electrical system, revised styling and a revamped interior that has more luxurious touches.
STAGE:Land Rover DiscoveryThe small car will be discontinued after 2020.
STAGE:Honda FitWith V-8 and W-12 variants on sale in either coupe or convertible form, additional Continental GT variants appear to be the next step. It's unclear when the electrified Continental GT will arrive, but given Bentley's 2023 goal, it won't be too far off. A Speed variant also seems likely, given the rollout cadence of the Continental GT's previous generations.
STAGE:Bentley Continental GTIt could be one and done for the most road-friendly Range Rover yet, which debuted in 2017.
STAGE:Land Rover Range Rover VelarFresh off a redesign for the 2020 model year, the midsize sedan is a few years away from a refresh.

STAGE:Tesla compact vehicleThe compact sedan was redesigned last year.
STAGE:Nissan SentraLincoln’s overall sales in the first half of 2020 were down 8 percent, but the numbers would be much worse without the Aviator.
STAGE:Lincoln AviatorDeliveries of the new Speedtail, McLaren's three-seat hypercar with a production run of 106 vehicles, began this summer.

STAGE:Audi A7 / S7 / RS 7The compact sedan and hatchback received a freshening for the 2020 model year.
STAGE:Subaru ImprezaAston Martin's first plug-in hybrid model -- the Valhalla hypercar -- will pack a big punch: 937 hp.
STAGE:Aston Martin ValhallaThe 1,080-hp electric sedan with a 517-mile range, from startup Lucid Motors, is expected to be one of the first production vehicles equipped with standard lidar for detecting vehicles, pedestrians and other obstacles.
STAGE:Lucid AirA replacement for BMW's first battery-electric car is not planned. U.S. sales of the i3 began in 2014. The automaker sold 4,905 copies last year.

With its Black Badge variant, the Cullinan has a long road ahead of it, given the brand's long life cycles.
