Renesas: Fire-damaged chip line won't restart for at least a month

Automakers, already facing a global chip shortage caused by a COVID-19-driven boom in consumer electronics and strong auto sales, will start to feel a supply pinch in about a month, the Japanese supplier warned Sunday.
