GM agrees to invest $787M in Canada plant, reaches tentative deal with Unifor

General Motors says it will end Chevrolet Equinox assembly in Canada and build the all-electric EV600 commercial van instead. It wasn't clear where GM would transfer the Equinox line, but it also builds the vehicle in Mexico.
