Honda Clarity

Unlike the Insight, the Clarity vehicles (plug-in hybrid, full electric and fuel cell) are weird-looking but surprisingly normal to drive. The plug-in makes the most sense for purchase, with 47 miles of electric-only range. The electric vehicle makes the least sense as a consumer vehicle compared with competitors, with just 89 miles of range and availability in just California and Oregon and as a lease-only. This EV needs a new battery, or Honda needs to find a better platform for its full EV future and drop that variant. The fuel cell version is available in California only.
