Fiat Chrysler pulled a $35 billion merger offer for Renault after the French automaker’s Japanese partner, Nissan, declined to back the deal, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. FCA said "political conditions in France do not currently exist for such a combination to proceed successfully."
