FCA's Dec. sales rise; Ford, GM slip

U.S. sales at FCA US rose 14 percent last month, driven by big gains at the Jeep, Ram and Dodge brands, while Ford and GM posted lower results, capping a year that saw the companies struggle to offset an industrywide slump in car demand with healthy light-truck deliveries.
