GM to respond by Jan. 7 to Canada union proposals to save Ontario plant, Dias says

GM told angry union leaders for Canada's autoworkers that it will respond by Jan. 7 to their proposals to keep an Ontario assembly plant open. Earlier, Unifor slammed the automaker in print ads over the Oshawa, Ont., plant idling just hours before GM and union officials met at the Renaissance Center in Detroit.
