Renault-Nissan tops VW to become top-selling carmaker

The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance passed VW Group to become the world's biggest seller of light vehicles in 2017. The French-Japanese automaker sold about 10.61 million vehicles last year compared with 10.53 million for VW Group.
