German sales jump nearly 4% in Dec. as Toyota leads gains

Registrations in Germany increased by nearly 4 percent in December as Toyota brand led gains among volume automakers, while the scandal-hit VW brand's sales fell sharply. Full-year sales were up 4.5 percent to 3.35 million, a seven-year high.
