VW will take stake in Navistar to challenge Daimler in heavy trucks, report says

VW Group will take a 19.9 percent stake in U.S.-based truck maker Navistar, Reuters reported. VW's commercial vehicles division wants to get a strategic foothold in North America as a way to challenge Daimler.
