BMW, Audi, Mercedes, tech firms form 5G alliance to accelerate self-driving cars

BMW, Audi and Mercedes launched a 5G alliance with mobile telecoms network equipment firms Ericsson, Huawei, Intel, Nokia and Qualcomm to accelerate development of the infrastructure needed for self-driving cars.
