BMW is broadening its flagship model range with the U.S. arrival of the 2020 8-series Gran Coupe in September.
The 2020 model receives the new Red S appearance package that gives the interior a burst of color with red leather seats. The vehicle also gets three new paint options. But production is slated to stop by the end of 2022.
Like the Tundra on which it's based, Toyota's full-size, three-row, body-on-frame SUV is long in the tooth and in need of an overhaul.
Musk said on Twitter he plans production of a seven-seat, three- motor Plaid variant of the Model S for late next year with performance beyond the sedan's Ludicrous Mode.
The midsize commercial van is due for a redesign as early as 2024.
The battery-electric variant of the X3 should go on sale in early 2021 and will feature an electric motor free of rare earth elements.
The coupe and convertible will be replaced by two full-electric models.
